Made for us by under the Kanai Lal label by Shubash. His fathers name was Kanai Lal and there's no relation to the famous Kanai Lal of the past. A great playing and sounding sitar at a very reasonable price. Has modern style taraf grommets, deer horn bridges and inlaid pegs. Nice action and built sturdy enough to require a little break in yet with a great tone. Comes with a well made rexine case or you can contact us if you wish to upgrade to a fiberglass case. We've been asked to provide a decent VK style sitar from Kolkata at a good price (and it's even air shipped!) and so here you go.
