 New sitar from Barun Ray, made from aged mahogany (tun) wood with great action and very warm tone from India's best maker. Has a natural top gourd, swirled main pegs and plain sympathetics, synthetic bridges with new leg design and a brass langot.The sitar shown is the actual instrument in stock and comes with a fiberglass hard case included in the price. This sitar has been air shipped (as are all of our instruments) to preserve its quality). This is the same sitar as called Hiren Roy #3 elsewhere.
