Probably one of the finest Gandhar Pancham sitars we've seen from Srishti. There was a time when Ustad Vilayat Khan had perfected a design that was given to Kanai Lal. No comparisons, mind you but this instrument was made with the original specifications in mind. Most Vilayat Khan style sitars nowadays whether from famous Delhi makers or Miraj are very thin in construction and sometimes can wear out quickly. Here's one built the old way, a solid instrument that won't disappoint a demanding player. Ebony bridge, natural sympathetic bridge, synthetic langot for strength. A 'meend machine' . Current in stock model is really fantastic souding....
